POS machines used by CMBC are classified into consumption-oriented POS which is for consumption only and account transfer POS for collecting fees.

There are two ways of communication for the POS machines in CMBC: through regular telephone lines and /or lines for special use.

Account balance enquiry, consumption, consumption cancellation, refund, pre-authorization, revoking pre-authorization, confirming pre-authorization, revoking the confirmation of pre-authorization
CMBC Card can be used on POS machines at CMBC’s merchants or merchants of other banks which have joined the gold card network center.

1. Before daily settlement is finished: before POS terminals complete daily settlement, if the customer requests refund, trading can be revoked through POS based on customer’s receipt.
2. After daily settlement finished: after POS terminals complete daily settlement, if the customer requests refund, refund can be carried out manually by filling refund slip based on customer’s receipt.
3. Refund enters into the account on the date of refunding regarding the CMBC Card’s POS (CMBC’s, inter-bank, same city, inter-city) consumption. Refund must enter into the original consumption CMBC Card.
