In the country, you can use AUD Card to draw RMB cash from the bank's business net points or from any ATM with UnionPay logo and to spend your money by sliding your card in specially-arranged shops and stores with UnionPay logo.

When you spend your money with AUD Card in the AUD Area, compared with the dual-currency international card that makes USD as the settlement currency, AUD Card can save by about 1% the currency exchange fee and the expense incurred by fluctuations of exchange rate.

When you use AUD Card (including consumption and cash withdrawal) by means of VISA network outside the country, if the balance in the AUD settlement account of your card is inadequate, the deficient part will be paid by the funds in the RMB settlement account in the way of automatic purchase of foreign exchange.

According to your needs, you can choose to open or close your AUD Card's function of overseas transaction in the bank's business net points or by means of telephone bank or online bank. Once the function of overseas transaction is closed, AUD Card's function of cash withdrawal during overseas consumption will be immediately stopped, which greatly strengthens the card's secure control and risk avoidance.

Switch of overseas transactions

To make your use convenient, the switch of overseas transactions on your AUD Card is left open when the card is opened. For the purpose of avoiding risks, please close the function of overseas transactions by means of the bank's customer service agent seat, online bank or the counter after you come back to China.

POS consumption

In the country, you can spend your money by sliding your card with the password in domestic specially-arranged shops and stores with "UnionPay" logo; Outside the country, you can spend your money by sliding your card with your signature in specially-arranged shops and stores with "VISA" logo.

Loss of card

If you lose your AUD Card outside the country, please immediately call (008610) 95568 to apply for loss registration. You may also ask for help from VISA international organization and use its emergent rescue service to protect the security of individual properties.

Limit on cash withdrawal and consumption

According to regulations by the State Administration of Foreign Exchange, AUD Card's cash withdrawal outside the country is subject to limit management. The standard of limit for cash withdrawal is: accumulated cash withdrawal on the same date shall not exceed a sum equal to USD 1,000; accumulated cash withdrawal within one month shall not exceed a sum equal to USD 5,000; accumulated cash withdrawal within six months shall not exceed a sum equal to USD 10,000.

When your accumulated consumption by AUD Card on the same date is expected to exceed a sum equal to USD 20,000, please open in advance macro-transaction by means of the bank's customer service agent seat. The function becomes effective immediately after it is opened, and is automatically closed after 24 hours. After its opening, the consumption will not be restricted by highest limit.
