Second-stage QDII Product Achieved Highest Rate of Return among CMBCs Financing Products

    The bank's second-stage QDII product started to have its interests accruing as of August 7th 2007. After a three-month operation, the product managed to leave the market with profits on November 7th 2007, and the clients could earn at least an annualized rate of return of 16%, which became the highest among that of all the bank's realized financing products!

    In July this year, through the thorough research on international market, the bank prudently grasped the market opportunities, elaborately designed the product structure and thus made a timely promotion of this product. This product gives attention both to the need by level-headed clients who want for guarantee on the principal and the base rate of return and to the profit objective by aggressive clients who expect an annualized rate of return of more than 15%. It collects RMB, U. S. Dollar, Hong Kong Dollar and Australian Dollar from domestic clients and invests outside the country Australian Dollar, which has been increasing in value against U. S. Dollar, Hong Kong Dollar and RMB, in the bills and notes linking to a basket of Hong Kong stocks. It also adds the earlier termination mechanism, hold-the-belt and profit-sharing design and lock-the-highest mechanism in the income structure.
