Announcement on the Completion of CMBC’S 1st Tranche Financial Bonds Issuance in 2007

The 1st tranche financial bonds of the Bank in 2007 were issued in the nationwide inter-bank bond market, of which RMB 6 billion were 3-year term bonds and another RMB 6 billion were 5-year term bonds, all without redemption option.

The bonds adopted floating interest rate. For the 3-year term bonds, the issuing interest rate was 3.67% and the current basic interest rate is 3.06%, the value date was June 22, 2007 and the pay date will be June 22, 2010, interest will be paid once a year. For the 5-year term bonds, the issuing interest rate was 3.82% and the current basic interest rate is 3.06%, the value date was June 22, 2007 and the pay date will be June 22, 2012, interest will be paid once a year.

As of June 22, 2007, a total of RMB 12 billion proceeds from the financial bonds issuance have been appropriated to the Bank’s account, marking the completion of the issuance.
