Our Bank is Awarded The Best Chinese Internet Banking Service Safety Prize in 2009

Recently, China Financial Certification Authority (CFCA) has held in Mingzu Hotel Beijing the "Trust in Internet Banking, Profits Making by Internet" 2009 Chinese Internet Banking Annual Meeting. The annual meeting was attended by Ouyang Weimin, director of the Payment and Settlement Division of the People's Bank of China, Li Xiaofeng, deputy director of Department of Science and Technology, leaders of several state departments and commissions like China Banking Regulatory Commission and Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and representatives of 20 commercial banks. The meeting has published the 2009 Chinese Internet Banking Integrated Evaluation and Research Report arousing wide public concern, and disclosed the awarded banks during this year's Internet Banking integrated evaluation. The Internet Banking Service of China Minsheng Bank, after having won in 2008 "The Best Risk Prevention Prize in 200 8", was again rewarded "The Best Internet Banking Service Safety Prize in 2009".

CFCA is a state authoritative safety certification authority approved by the People's Bank of China and the national information security management institute, and also one of the initial certification authorities blessed with the electronic certification service license after the issue of the Law of People's Republic of China on Electronic Signature. It has long been committed to making Internet Banking survey, research and evaluation, holding annual meetings to discuss the hot issues on Internet Banking, publishing integrated evaluation report on Internet Banking, and providing for each bank scientific and comprehensive references and guidance on the development of Internet Banking Service. Since 2005, CFCA has successfully held 5 testing evaluation activities and annual meetings, effectively accelerating the healthy and rapid development of Chinese Internet Banking Service. During this year's Internet Banking Service testing evaluation activity, CFCA has, according to the more than 400 indicators of 3 levels set in advance for Personal Internet Banking and Corporate Banking Service, carried out strict, objective and just evaluation of the Internet Banking service of 13 banks, and China Minsheng Bank stood out above others in the Internet Banking security testing evaluation and was rewarded the grand prize due to its high quality products and superior risk control mechanism.

In order to meet the increasing security demands of the clients, in 2009, each bank began to strengthen the construction of Internet Banking security, which has effectively improved Chinese Internet Banking security. Among all banks, the tactics adopted by China Minsheng Bank in improving the Internet Banking security is especially integrated, comprehensive and of prominent effects.

In order to guarantee the rights and interests of the clients, China Minsheng Bank has long been paying great attention to the Internet Banking security issue and committed to creating safe and reliable Internet Banking Service. This year, in order to further improve the Internet Bank security, China Minsheng Bank has introduced the Personal Internet Banking Pre-plating Certificate U Key with better safety features and Corporate Internet Banking Pre-plating Certificate U Key, which pre-plate the digital certificate into the U Key, decreasing the intermediate steps during the clients' operation of the Internet Banking Service, and largely enhancing the security of the products. Meanwhile, China Minsheng Bank has firstly developed for debit card users electronic bank risk transactions monitoring platform, which has effectively prevented the transaction risk for debit card users. Moreover, China Minsheng Bank has also intensified the Internet Banking business risk examination, consigned the professional anti-phishing website company to carry out surveillance around the clock to provide active surveillance service of the anti-fishing website, added Internet Banking on-line virus-killing function, strengthened the Internet Banking account opening management, employed periodically experts on Internet Banking security to give lectures on Internet Banking security for the clients, and built multiple levels safe and reliable Internet Banking security system to have gained the long-lasting support and unanimous praise from the clients and all walks of life. Recently, in the second China Electronic Finance Jin Jue Award selection activity hosted by China Electronic Finance Industrial Alliance and the Professional Committee of Electronic Finance of China Electronic Commerce Association, China Minsheng Bank was rewarded "Minsheng U Key - the Safest Product in 2009".
