CMBC Put forward Favorable Enterprise Internet Banking for the Year of the Tiger to Build Green Internet Banking 2010-3-11
Nowadays, issues like global warming and environment deterioration have become the public focus. In order to save social resources and reduce carbon emissions, CMBC has devoted itself to the development of Internet Banking Service in recent years. By taking full advantage of low cost and energy consumption features of Internet Banking, CMBC has cut the business cost of the bank and social resources consumption, thereby achieving the aim of mutual benefits to the society, the bank and the client. The Enterprise Internet Banking of CMBC has long been insisting on product and service innovation, closely following the customers' demands, and enhancing in all aspects the financial service capability of Internet Banking since its commercial debut. The Enterprise Internet Banking of CMBC now has 10 types and more than 200 sub-business items including Account inquiry, transfer and remittance, e-banking receipt, on-line reconciliation, enterprise finance room, electronic bill of exchange, on-line issuing of certificate, through which the client can deal with most of the counter businesses, not only largely saving time and energy for the client, but also human and material resources for the bank. For example, there are now more than 50,000 clients make reconciliation on line through the enterprise on-line reconciliation business of CMBC, who can save 600 tons of paper for the whole year with one client saving 1kg paper per each month, thereby preventing the lumbering of 600 cubes of wood and 340 tons of carbon emissions. If these clients conduct transfer and remittance through Enterprise Internet Banking, a cumulative of 5000 tons of carbon emissions can be reduced with each client decreasing one chance to and from the bank per week and an average of 10km distance each time. Therefore, Internet Banking has played a significant role in reducing carbon emissions and saving social resources. With a view to encourage more clients to use Enterprise Internet Banking, CMBC carried out a series of marketing activities, presenting substantial benefits to the clients through favorable tactics and lottery, which have won great praises among the clients. Following the marketing activity of "Three Happy Activities of Enterprise Internet Banking of CMBC Bring You More Favor and Prizes Each Season" proposed by CMBC in 2009, CMBC put forward this year another marketing activity of "Favorable Enterprise Internet Banking for the Year of the Tiger Make Your Transfer and Reconciliation Fast, Easy, and Economical", which contains a number of favorable and lottery activities with abundant prizes and chances to win. The activity is between March 1 and December 31, during which time clients opening Enterprise Internet Banking can enjoy favorable charge including 1000 Enterprise Internet Banking points for opening and making transactions not less than once by using Enterprise Internet Banking, and 20% discount on the transaction commission for transfer through Enterprise Internet Banking. In the meantime, there are three quarterly lucky lotteries and the annual big award, generating 512 client winners for each quarter and 80 client winners for the annual big award, who will be awarded purchasing card for on-line market and tour card.
