Notice on Adjusting Outward Transfer and Online Payment Limit of VIP Personal Online Banking (U-key)

Dear Clients,

In order to further improve the service level of our personal online banking, and meet the requirements of large amount of fund transfer by our clients, CMBC decided to raise the limit for outward transfer and online payment for VIP personal banking (U-Key) since Jan 22nd, 2011. It is hereby notified:

1.Targets

This adjustment is only targeted to VIP personal banking clients with U-key, while those with browser license are not included.

3.Self-adjustment of trading limit by clients

U-key holders could raise or lower their own trading limit over counter or through e-banking. Browser license holders could raise or lower their trading limit over counter, yet through e-banking, they could only lower their trading limit.

For U-key holders who register in batches, if they want to transfer or pay through e-banking for the first time after registration, they should open and set up over counters by themselves, and later, they could raise or lower their trading limit through e-banking. 

3.Limit for special trading 

If U-key holders want to transfer or pay amount exceeding the limit CMBC sets, they could apply to adjust their limit for large amount special trading. To open the special limit, clients shall take their own IDs and fill in ‘Application Form for Special Trading Limit Adjustment for Large Amount Transfer and Payment in CMBC Personal Banking’ in different banking outlets. The application procedure shall be in accordance with CMBC regulations. To cancel the special limit, clients could log on personal e-banking to lower their trading limit.
