CMBC Won in Succession Chinas Best Online Banking Security Award 2011

 Recently, "China E-banking Annual Meeting" was jointly held by CFCA and nearly of its members in Beijing. As an annual event of "Safe Use of Online Banking - Promotion Year 2011", leaders from BOC, CBRC, Ministry of Public Security and other leading authorities, and persons in charge of large commercial banks were present at the annual meeting. CMBC was on the list of banks with excellent performance in the e-banking comprehensive evaluation revealed in the meeting. It stood out from the fierce competition in the industry and won "China’s Best Online Banking Security Award 2011". Following 2009 and 2010, it was the third time that CMBC won this award, a high recognition of the security of Bank’s online banking by third-party security certification authority. 
        Since 2005, China E-banking Annual Meeting has been successfully held for 7 times. It contributes greatly to the healthy and rapid development of China’s e-banking and has a significant influence in the industry. In this year’s online banking evaluation, the organizing committee followed strictly the evaluation results of online banking users and the objective performance of member banks in online banking security, online banking functions, and site construction to reach the composite score and decide the final winners. With its outstanding advantages in online banking security initiatives and good security performance, CMBC was granted "China’s Best Online Banking Security Award 2011".
        Security of online banking has been most concerned by customers. In order to meet their growing security needs, CMBC gives top priority to the construction of online banking security through scientific and technology innovation, strengthening of risk control measures, and the combination of a variety of other measures. While continually improving and enhancing the Bank’s internal system security construction, it has also launched Minsheng U Bao that is good in safety performance. There are different versions of U Bao, such as drive-free version, pre-certification colorful version, commemorative version, Zodiac version and Lucky Octopus version that could meet the needs of different customers. Quality products and services are key to high trust and strong support from customers. This year, there are 600,000 new U Bao customers and the number of those using personal banking has exceeded 4 million, replacing nearly 80% of transactions over the counter. It means that in every 5 transactions, 4 are through online banking. In addition, CMBC also launched e-banking risk transaction monitoring system, phishing website active monitoring, online banking online antivirus, online banking security channels and other security products and services. It has built a comprehensive and reliable online banking security system that is highly recognized by customers and the society. Besides "China’s Best Online Banking Security Award 2011", in "The 5th China E-Finance Development Annual Conference & China E-Finance Jinjue Award Ceremony 2011", CMBC U Bao won "2010 Best Online Banking Product Safety Award".
