CMBC Launched Telephone Banking Services in English

    Recently CMBC announced to launch telephone banking services in English, offering account inquires and detailed inquires and other services for corporate clients and CMBC debit card clients. It is reported that among domestic commercial banks only a few banks can provide similar services. Currently available is English voice self-service, and English manual service may be available in the future. This is the reflection of CMBC’s “client first” philosophy on client service, also an important measure that CMBC actively leverages the Olympic related business opportunities to go international.     
 

    Currently CMBC has launched 95568 telephone banking hotline service in 24 domestic cities; adhering to the service concept of “professional and concentrated to create value”, CMBC has introduced air ticket booking, wealth management reservation, and electronic bonds etc that are welcomed by the clients, and the brand image of 95568 becomes popular. According to the CCTV covert survey results in the first half of 2007, the access speed of CMBC’s 95568 telephone banking ranked No.1 among the surveyed commercial banks.    
 
    Due to service competitions between banks, it is a tendency to provide personalized service, while telephone banking service in English is only one kind of such personalized needs. In order to meet market demands CMBC will also introduce services in other languages to satisfy the consumers. In addition, the call center of CMBC has achieved a major breakthrough in CRM (customer relationship management) application – assessed as “2007 Best Call Center” and “2007 Best CRM Application Award”.
