CMBC: Actively Participating Poverty Alleviation Activities through Information

Securities Times   The reporter learned yesterday that the ads of poverty alleviation through information issued by the State Council Leading Group Office of Poverty Alleviation and Development (CPAD), together with CMBC and other organizations, have made outstanding achievements, which have helped to promote the sales of over 52 billion kg of agriculture products for 304 counties and cities in China in the past four years.

In 2006, CPAD, together with All-China Federation of Industry & Commerce (ACFIC), and CMBC, launched the free ads for emergency sales of agricultural products in China, which was broadcasted on CCTV-7 (Agriculture Channel) for poverty counties and main production districts of agricultural products of China free of charge. It have attracted many buyers and investors, and created effective platform for the sales and investment attraction of agricultural products for these counties and cities.  

In 2007, CPAD with Petro China Company Limited (CPNC) and China Tuopai Group launched the activity of “free ads for investment attraction of agricultural product deep-processing in China”.

Ads for poverty alleviation through information has been executed for 4 years, which have helped to promote the sales of over 52 billion kg agricultural products for over 300 counties and cities in China, and boosted agricultural product sales in the poverty regions and main production districts of agricultural products.
