Promoting Financial Manager Services, CMBC Conducting All-round Upgrade

    "I am much surprised by the degree of CMBC’s specialization in the coal industry. In some aspects of the industry, it knows even more than us, which is almost impossible to other banks," this is the remark of chairman of a private coal group when talking about CMBC, while expressing his willingness to invite CMBC the first time in his future investment in core business assets. 
Certainly, this chairman’s high assessment of CMBC does not come out of thin air. To know the reasons, one can just look at what services CMBC has provided to the coal group: As of late September 2011, a total of 9 CMBC products and services were used by the coal group and its core members. Based on its characteristics and recent development, recently, CMBC Energy Finance SBU has proposed a new integrated financial services program for this coal group that covers trade finance, acquisition finance, ship leasing, debt financing instruments release, cash management and other services. 
While serving this coal group, CMBC Energy Finance SBU adopts combined marketing of Emerging Markets SBU, Trade Finance Center, Credit Evaluation Center and Sub-divisions, and conducts investment banking and trade finance business in "1+2+N" teamwork mode. These efforts have ensured effective application of coal industry-related knowledge and wisdom of CMBC Resources and Energy Finance SBU in its comprehensive services to this coal group. 
This is CMBC "Financial Manager" service model for private enterprises and the above mentioned coal group is such an enterprise. 
What Is "Financial Manager"
According to CMBC Chairman Dong Wenbiao, "financial manager" refers to full involvement in the customer’s business activities and full-range financial services that cover loans, wealth management, financial advisory, debt issuance, and listing. CMBC provides some of these services itself, and some through the cooperation with other financial institutions that makes it a provider and contractor of financial services to enterprises, thus the title "financial manager".
