Announcement on CBRC’s Approval on Minsheng Bank’s Setting up of Minsheng Financial Leasing Compay.

On October 11, 2007, the Bank received the Reply on Approving to Set Up Minsheng Financial Leasing Co., Ltd (Yinjian Fu [2007] No. 445) from the China Banking Regulatory Commission (CBRC), approving the Bank to co-invest with Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone Investment Co., Ltd. in setting up Minsheng Financial Leasing Co., Ltd. The Bank will complete the preparation and set up the said company within six months upon receiving the Reply. During the preparation period, the Bank will settle issues including capital, personnel and business premises of the said company, and complete the constitutions of the articles of association, rules and regulations for the lines of business to be run, and the rules for internal risk control. In compliance with the relating rules and regulations, materials for business operation commencement application will be submitted to the CBRC after the preparation work is done.
