Announcement of Board of Directors on Electing the Staff Supervisors of the Fourth Board of Directors

CMBC Board of Directors received the Report on the Election Result of Staff Supervisors of China Minsheng Banking Corp., Ltd. forwarded by CMBC Trading Union Working Committee, who acting on the Resolution on Calling for Candidates for Shareholder Supervisors and External Supervisors for the New Session of the Board of Supervisors, and in strict compliance with the laws and regulations such as Company Law, Law of Commercial Banks, Code of Corporate Governance for Listed Companies in China, Guidance to the Corporate Governance of Joint Stock Commercial Banks and the Articles of Association and Measure concerning the Qualification and Election of Supervisors of China Minsheng Banking Corp., Ltd., have confirmed the candidacy and procedures for the election of staff supervisors and elected three staff supervisors for the forth Board of Supervisors by open ballots on 15 February 2007. The names of the elected supervisors are as the follows:

Qiao Zhimin, Chen Jinzhong, Wang Lei

The resumes of the above staff supervisors of the forth Board of Supervisors are as the follows:

Qiao Zhimin, Male, Han nationality, born in 1953, holder of master’s degree, senior accountant, Joined China Minsheng Banking Corp., Ltd. in January 2007. Used to be appointed as Deputy Director of Accounting Department of Bank of China Head Office, Vice Governor of Bank of China Luxemburg Branch, Vice General Manager of Comprehensive Planning Department of Bank of China, Deputy Director of Accounting Division of Bank of China, Financial Director of CBRC.

Chen Jinzhong, Male, Han nationality, born in 1960, PhD in economics, Senior Economist, Assistant Professor Currently the Office Manager and Party Committee Secretary of CMBC. Career history: Teacher in Hebei Bank School, Lecturer of People’s Bank Baoding Financial College, Assisstant Professor of People’s Bank Baoding Financial College, Office Manager, CMBC Office Manager, Deputy Director.

Wan Lei, Female, Han nationality, born in 1961, holder of master’s degree, economist, currently the Credit Assessor of Eastern China Credit Assessment Center of CMBC. Used to be the lecturer at Xinjiang Commercial School, Director of Credit Loans Department of Bank of Communications Wulumuqi Branch, Deputy Director of Auditing Department of CMBC Shanghai Branch, Assistant to Governor at CMBC Shanghai Hongqiao and Huangpu Branches; General Manager of Risk Department of CMBC Shanghai Branch, Governor of CMBC Shanghai Shixi Branch and Specialist of CMBC Credit Department.
