Announcement on the CBRC’s Approval on the Bank’s Issuance of Convertible Corporate Bonds with Separated Warrants Transaction

The Bank recently received the CBRC’s Reply on CMBC’s Issuance of Convertible Corporate Bonds with Separated Warrants Transaction (Yinjian Fu [2008] No.369), which approved the Bank to issue no more than RMB 15 billion of 10-year-term convertible corporate bonds with separated warrants transaction. The proceeds of the issuance may be booked into supplementary capital in compliance of relevant regulatory requirements.
