Buy funds via CMBC online banking at lower rate

Dear customers:
In acknowledgement of your support and trust in the long term, China Minsheng Banking Corp. Ltd. (CMBC) after having consulted with the related funds management companies now decides to offer better rate for purchasing the open-end funds products through CMBC personal online bank.
I. The eligible investors
CMBC online banking VIP users with CMBC debit card who wish to purchase the open-end fund online as an individual investor.
II. Applicable funds and term
Within the legal term for application, investors may purchase any of the following funds through personal online banking VIP edition with the preferential rates:
Changxin Value-add Strategy Fund (519993):
Term: 6 September 2007 – 6 November 2007
Tianzhi Quality Select Funds (350002):
Term: 7 September 2007 – 6 November 2007
Chinese merchant Leadership Funds (630001):
Term: 7 September 2007 – 6 November 2007
III. Rate details
During the period of offer, the lower rate will apply to investors who purchase open funds (only for front-end charging mode) through CMBC online banking VIP edition. The original rates (including ranking rates), if higher than 0.6%, shall be given a unified rate of 0.6%; if the original rates are lower than 0.6%, the rate shall remain unchanged. For details of the standard rate, please refer to the related legal documents and the latest announcement made by the funds management companies.
IV. Application procedures
Investors with CMBC card may log in directly the online banking VIP edition and apply online.
Important notice
1. CMBC has the right of final explanation. Investor who wish to know the details of the fund products please read carefully all legal documents such as the funds contracts and prospectuses.
2. The offer will only apply to the application fee with the front-end charging mode of the funds products at the normal application term and will not include the fees for the back end charge mode and the funds within the fund raising period, nor will it include the process fees for fixed interval investment on funds, fund transfer (基金定投业务及基金转换业务)and other businesses.
3. The announcement concerning the decision to extend the offer and include more funds products will be made otherwise after consultation with the funds management companies.
