During the promotion period of “Online carefree” U Pay from April 10 to June 30, 2008, debit card users, when applying for the “U Pay”, can enjoy the preference by the card category, where classic cardholders enjoy a discount of 20% in the production cost, while the gold card and silver card users can enjoy a favorable discount of 50% in terms of production cost, the production cost is free for diamond card users. Besides, third party custody customers can also handle it free of charge.

In order to further guarantee the security of users when transacting via Internet Banking, Minsheng Bank, while launching the “U Pay”, also carried out the activity of “Multiple gifts for U Pay application”. All customers applying for “U Pay” can acquire the anti-Internet banking virus software. This software was launched by CFCA and the National Computer Virus Emergency Response Center jointly, and technically supported by Beijing Jiangmin New Science& Technology Co., Ltd. This software can update automatically, which enables it to have the latest virus database and safeguard the internet banking use of customers. Besides, customers applying for Minsheng “U Pay” can also acquire the instant message service of account information to know the change of funds in account at any time, which provides more guarantee to the fund safety, so that realize the safer and more convenient carefree online in the real sense.
